Neo-Pure 8606RC Carbon Postfilter Bags for Water Distillers

For use in Waterwise® 8500 and 8800 Countertop Water Distillers | 8606RC Carbon Postfilter Bags for Water Distillers come in packs of 6 postfilters per package. These handy little bags will polish distilled water removing any residual VOCs that have traveled in the steam; they will also improve the taste of the distilled water. 8606RC Carbon Postfilter Bags for Water Distillers are made from environmentally-friendly coconut shell granular activated carbon. These postfilter bags slip easily into the top of the carafe that fits into the Waterwise® distiller. Postfilters should be replaced every two months or approximately every 60 to 80 gallons. Bags are 3-3/4″ x 2-1/2″.

Note: Before using a new postfilter, immerse it in a separate container filled with water. Allow the water to saturate the postfilter for five to ten minutes. This will allow any air bubbles or carbon fines in the carbon to escape.
